and are bundled according to length. Large orders may require a percentage of shorts.
Wainscoat length is available. Kiln dried to 6-8%. STK means select tight knot.

Northern white cedar makes excellent shakes & shingles. On a roof it will weather to a beautiful silver grey.
When used as siding, cedar shakes & shingles are both functional and economical. Let them weather or
you may stain them.

16" shingles are almost always in stock. 24" shingles and shakes are less likely to be stocked in sizeable
amounts. Please try to order well in advance.

LOG HOME MATERIAL

In the last few years, as the price of full logs has gone up, we have seen a trend toward quarter log
siding for which there are several advantages. Log siding does not require highly specialized building
technique, consequently almost anyone can build with it. Its use also deals a final blow to the two
single biggest problems associated with log homes: wind-driven rain and air leaks through the walls.
This way you can have a fully insulated wall with a heavy log appearance. When our quarter log
siding is combined with our log window and door trim, you cannot tell that your wall is not of solid logs.

We handle a variety of log siding in several sizes and thicknesses. Generally, the thicker the slab,
the rounder and heavier the overall appearance. Some items are subject to availability.
