This house utilized 2x8 white pine log siding, hand peeled, for the exterior with sawn timber corners and hand peeled trim. For gables and dormers, the owner used a knotty grade of white cedar shingles. The combination with the white pine and white cedar makes for a good match.
The decks and porches consisted of pre-built white cedar log rails sections.
The interior used 1x6 northern white cedar cottage grade for wainscoat and ceilings, as well as log rails for the staircase.
